Kazi Couriers is a registered South African company building one app for two everyday needs, send a parcel and get a ride, across South Africa. We're a small team, locally run, and we measure success in fair payouts as much as in growth.

PostNet moves parcels. Uber moves people. Neither does both from one place, and neither is built for the realities on the ground: load shedding, expensive mobile data, addresses that don't exist in the geocoder, neighbourhoods that get skipped by national operators.
Kazi puts both in one app, send a parcel and get a ride. It's the platform we'd want as customers, as merchants, and as drivers, all of it earnest about being South African first.

Four things we won't bend on.
Fair money, every time.
80% of every fare plus 100% of every tip to the driver. 20% to Kazi. The rate is snapshotted on every trip, so a change later never claws back what you already earned.
No dark patterns.
Prices shown before you pay. Fees broken out, not hidden. No "service charge" line that funnels into our pocket. The price is the price.
Drivers are not employees, and we say so.
Independent contractors set their own hours. Backend-enforced safety caps (12-hour max shift, 6-hour rest) are for their safety, not our control.
Compliance is build-wide, not last-mile.
POPIA, CPA, Play Store policies and FICA: all baked into the platform from Phase 1. We don't bolt on compliance at launch.
